Mozilla Calendar Project releases 0.5 - Posted at 02/07/2007 7:46am by chiller2 Bookmark and Share
The Mozilla Calendar Project has just released Sunbird and Lightning 0.5. I'm quite a fan of the latter but presentationally always thought it should separate mail, calendar and task functions with buttons as Outlook does. Far be it for me to exalt the evil empire, but here they have it right. The crammed up mini calendar and task list just don't work, especially when you have a rather long list of mail folders. Well, there's hope at last as someone has gone ahead and separated out the functions in part and it's available as an 0.7 nightly patch. I hope they go ahead and separate the tasks too, then do away with the mini calendar view.
